I'm a self-taught abstract artist from Toronto, Canada. From a young age, I've always been drawn to the arts, expressing my creativity in various forms. My artistic journey took a significant turn in 2018 while on maternity leave. I founded Shaliza Creations, initially focusing on adorning champagne flutes and wine glasses. However, my growing fascination for abstract art soon became my primary focus, evolving into a full-time profession.
Abstract art allows me to channel my passion for aesthetics and self-expression. I draw inspiration from my emotions, daily experiences, and nature's beauty. It holds the power to evoke various emotions and memories, and my goal is to enhance my clients' homes uniquely, whether it's by bringing joy, evoking cherished memories, or simply offering aesthetic pleasure.
My art features pronounced textures, a vibrant palette, and a hint of metallic sheen. The freedom and exploration that come with being an artist are what I cherish most. My journey has been incredibly rewarding, with my pieces showcased in three local gallery shows on June 29, September 14, and September 19.
